Barrow Farm Riding for the Disabled
Throwback Thursday - 2000We received a fab grant of £15.500 from The Currie Memorial Trust to replace the old and dusty school floor with a modern new waxed surface. The whole school was very dusty and dirty and before the new surface was laid it was completely cleared and cleaned by volunteers and parents. With the new surface and clean it was like new again, a much healthier workplace for all. £2000 from the Worshipful Company of Pipe Makers and Tobacco Blenders paid for the first surfacing of the woodland path, by kind permission of Lord Petre. Our then vice chairman, Michael Mitchell did a lot of the work both managing the project and very "hands on" The Worshipful Co have been supporting us for over 30 years with regular donations and extras like this.
