Friday 27 March 2020: Elvis and Friends

Back by popular demand, RockerSal sings songs by Elvis, Buddy Holly, Billy Fury, the Beatles, Monkees & Rolling Stones, Shakin’ Stevens, Dean Martin, the Kinks, Neil Diamond, Jerry Lee Lewis, Ricky Nelson & many more. You can dance the night away or simply watch Sal’s great performance. The venue is Blackmore Village Hall, Nine Ashes Rd, Blackmore CM4 0QW. Doors open at 7.30pm for 8pm and it will all be over by 11pm. Bring your own snacks and nibbles, but not drinks as there is a licensed bar in the hall. Tickets are £15 available from Janet Doghan by emailing fundraising@barrowfarmrda.org.uk. Please book in advance to secure your seat. All profits to Barrow Farm Riding for the Disabled.

Sunday 17 May 2020: Regional RDA Competition

Please come along and support our riders at College of West Anglia at Milton, Cambridgeshire. This is the qualifying competition for the RDA National Championships.

Sunday 17 May 2020: Great Baddow Fun Run

Barrow Farm RDA is one of the charities to benefit from this event. There will be lots of family activities on the Recreation Ground at Great Baddow. Please come and support this event. Volunteers are needed to help marshall the running course – please contact Karen Lehner if you are able to help on the day.

Sunday 28 June 2020: Riders Horse Show and Strawberry Tea

Returning for it’s third year, the Horse Show, which takes place at Barrow Farm RDA, gives all our riders the chance to compete in dressage or countryside challenge as best suits their interests and ability. Lots of help is needed for this event. Why not come along and watch and get a strawberry tea whilst you are here.

Friday 10 – Sunday 12 July: RDA National Championships

Riders have to qualify for the National Championship by coming first or second in their classes at the Regional Competition AND get they have to score the qualifying mark, so not easy! Again help and support needed for this but it is a bit further away at Hartpury College in Gloucestershire.
