Donations, Legacies and Fund Raising
Last year our generous supporters and fund raisers donated over £31,000 to help us to continue our work and enable our riders to benefit from their weekly riding sessions. A big thank you to you all.
Our Benefits of Riding page explains what can be achieved with the help of your donation.
While we charge our riders a nominal sum to ride to help towards some of our £80,000 costs over 70% of our costs need to be funded by other means. For more about our costs take a look at our Running Costs page in About Barrow Farm.

A gift of money would be a great gift to Barrow Farm and could be used for:-
- Funding the salary of one of our hardworking instructors
- Paying for the costs of keeping one of our essential team members, the ponies, £55 would pay for a set of shoes, £3 buys a bale of hay, £2,000 would pay the keep for a horse for a year
- Buying new equipment to enhance the riding experience for our riders
- Making improvements to and maintaining our extensive facilities
- Providing equipment to keep our riders safe £40 would buy a riding hat, £55 would pay for a set of safety stirrups
It couldn’t be easier to help.
