Some are fundraising events, some are just celebrations, some require participation at others you can just observe. Sunday 29 October 2017 – Companion Dog Show

Our ever popular Companion Dog Show is back on 29 October. Entries taken from 11am, £2.00 per class. Judging starts 12noon

1. Any Variety Puppy 6 – 12 months
2. Any Variety Sporting (Hound, Terrier, Gundog)
3. Any Variety Non Sporting (Working, Pastoral, Toy, Utility)
4. Any Variety Open
Best Pedigree in Show will now be judged

NOVELTY CLASSES
5. Fancy Dress
6. Best Crossbreed
7. Cutest Puppy 6 – 12 months
8. Prettiest Bitch
9. Handsomest Dog
10. Best Veteran 7 – 9 years
11. Best Senior Veteran 10 yrs plus
12. Fastest Sit/Down
13. Best Rescue
14. Best Trickster (3 minutes limit)
15. Waggiest Tail
16. Irish Brace (mis-matched pairs)
17. Dog Most Like It’s Owner
18. Companion Club Class
Best Novelty in Show will now be judged

Dog Show will be held in indoor riding school. Refreshments available throughout the day. Licensed and held under Kennel Club Rules & Regulations. No bitches in season. No puppies under 6 months. No Challenge Certificate or Reserve Challenge Certificate Winners in pedigree classes. Classes may be split if too many for arena. All dogs to be kept on leads at all times. No dogs to be left unattended in vehicles in hot weather.

Sunday 29 October 2017 – Equestrian Boot Fair

Does your horse need some extra rugs for over the winter? Would a martingale come in handy? This is your chance to pick up some preloved equestrian bargains.

Stalls can be set up from 5pm, doors open at 5.30pm

Saturday 4 November 2017 – Coffee and Cake Day

Come and join us for tea or coffee, a piece of cake and a natter, it is a great chance to see what our riders are up to as well. If you are a Saturday rider why not bring your friends and family along to see you riding.

As always we need homemade cakes that we can sell on the day.

Saturday 11 November 2017 – Equestrian Quiz

Clare will be running another Equestrian Quiz, this time at Highwood Village Hall, CM1 3QG. Your welcome at 7.30 for a prompt 8.00 start. Teams of 6 – 8 people. It costs £8 per ticket and includes a Ploughmans supper.
