Piper Lou (Lula)I’d love you to sponsor me - it will help with my food bill.

Hello, my name is Piper Lou, but on the rides I am more commonly known as Lula. I was born in 1999 and my main purpose in life has been to be a driving pony. In 2011 Barrow Farm received a donation from the Tobacco Pipe Makers and Tobacco Trade Benevolent Fund to buy a new horse or pony. I was lucky enough to be that chosen pony.
I am a black cob with a white stripe down my face and one white sock. Unlike most of the other cobs at Barrow Farm I get to keep all my hair, so the yard staff and volunteers have to spend a lot of time brushing my lovely long mane and my feathers.
I’ve settled in well at Barrow Farm and I have gradually been increasing my workload. I’m already allowed to work off lead with some of my more able riders and I have begun training to allow riders to mount using the hoist. Although I am already proving to be a very useful RDA riding pony the main purpose for me to come to Barrow Farm was to enable Barrow Farm to start offering carriage driving again. I have done a little driving work since I have been at Barrow Farm and I think that will increase now that spring is nearly here. I've been told I have to be very good and there is even a driving test before I am allowed to become an official Carriage Driving for the Disabled pony!
I enjoy going out in the field, especially with my friends, Jet, Macie, Tawney and Bruno in particular. I love a good roll in the mud and because I am black I clean up rather well. I like my food and I do like to make a bit of noise if it doesn't arrive fast enough (just in case they have forgotten me), unfortunately no-one else liked the noise very much so during the day you will find I just have a bar across my stable with the door open, this means I have nothing to bang with my foot, and although I always worry that they will forget to feed me, they never do.
I’d love you to sponsor me - it will help with my food bill.
Love Lula
